# Modules (Work in progress)

This is the "modules" folder. It contains all custom JavaScript modules that are created for this specific WordPress website. This can be something small as a scroll to top button functionality to more complex interactions and animations.

## Import / export

Use named exports instead of default exports when creating your modules

```js
// WRONG
const myModuleName = () => {
  // Here is the logic for my custom module
};
// Default export, should be avoided!!
export default myModuleName;
// CORRECT
// Named export is preferred
export const myModuleName = () => {
  // Here is the logic for my custom module
};
```

## FAQ

1. Help, my module isn't working?

Check that you properly imported your module into `/html/scripts/app.js`. JavaScript code that is not imported into app "entry" point will not be loaded on this WordPress website.
